Refund Policy

ROC NY Rotties – All Things Dogs

At ROC NY Rotties, we prioritize the health, welfare, and ethical treatment of every dog we breed. Because live animals are involved, our refund policy is strict, fair, and designed to protect both the buyer and the dog.

Deposits

• All deposits are non-refundable
• Deposits secure your place on the litter and cover care, time, and expenses already incurred
• Deposits may be transferred to a future litter at our discretion if circumstances arise before pickup

Final Payments

• Final payments are non-refundable once made
• Failure to complete final payment by the agreed pickup date may result in forfeiture of the deposit and/or puppy

Health Guarantee

We provide a health guarantee against life-threatening genetic conditions diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian.

• If a puppy is found to have a severe congenital or genetic defect within 72 hours of pickup, the buyer must:
– Provide written veterinary documentation
– Notify us immediately

If verified, we will offer one of the following:
• A replacement puppy from a future litter or
• A partial refund at the breeder’s discretion

Veterinary bills are not refundable.

No Refunds For

Refunds will not be issued for:
• Change of mind
• Allergies
• Landlord or housing issues
• Work or personal schedule conflicts
• Minor cosmetic traits (size, markings, color, ears, tail, etc.)
• Training or behavioral issues after placement

Returns & Rehoming

We do not support rehoming without breeder involvement.

• If at any time the buyer cannot keep the dog, the dog must be returned to the breeder
• No refunds are guaranteed upon return
• The breeder reserves the right to evaluate the dog’s condition before any consideration of compensation

Pickup & Transfer of Ownership

• Puppies must be picked up on the agreed date
• Delays may result in boarding fees
• Ownership transfers only after full payment is completed

Right to Refuse Sale

ROC NY Rotties reserves the right to refuse or cancel a sale at any time if we believe the placement is not in the best interest of the dog. In such cases, payments made (excluding deposit) will be refunded.

Acknowledgment

By placing a deposit or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Rehoming Policy in full.
